Key Product Rules

These rules come from the Programmer Handoff (October 2026) and are non-negotiable. Each links to the full specification section.

Roles & access

The only roles are Admin, Office Manager, and Estimator.
Admin Panel opens Users & Roles by default. The Admin-sidebar Dashboard returns to the main Dashboard. (Users & Roles, Admin Panel)
An Estimator normally accesses only their assigned estimates; an Office Manager accesses all estimates. Approved Admin-granted Estimator overrides are documented in the spec.
When an Office Manager or Estimator opens Profile Settings, the primary sidebar contains only Dashboard.
Gallery is readable by all three roles and mutable only by Admin. (Navigation)

The pricing term is Regular Price — never “Homeowner Price”. (Pricing Profiles)
Admin can edit Products & Pricing. Office Manager and Estimator see the same catalog read-only — the administrative sidebar, Add New Product, Actions, and Edit are removed, not disabled. (Navigation)
Only 6 in and 7 in K Style gutters display Varies by Roofer. Others use their configured Roofer Price or fall back to Regular Price.
Roofer Final Sketch hides every financial value — unit prices, line totals, Proposal totals, commission %, commission amount, all prices — and the remaining content must reflow without blank gaps. (Final Sketch Export)

The assigned Estimator’s saved signature is used on the Final Sketch. Admin may only inspect signature status/preview — never author or replace it.
Final Sketch downloads as JPG or PDF and is manually attached to Jobber. No automatic Jobber integration, no automatic sending to customers.
Canvas measurement, resizing, connection, aggregation, SOW, and pricing behavior come from catalog definitions. Graphic references define appearance and never override behavior.
Presence of an icon in the SVG library does not automatically seed a catalog item.
